Just saw the same LLM programming ad on YouTube again. Apparently the advertiser also found the original sales pitch unsatisfactory, they changed the script to focus on problem solving and productivity. I'm not going to be their customer, but at least the ad is no longer that annoying when it appears, it sounds just like a normal ad now.
I can relate: Each and every time I'm attending to a study surgery it make me wanting to rip out all the network cabling from the hospital's walls and replace it with something contemporary.
The imaging system that I built most recently produces ~12.5 GiB/s (i.e. ~100 GBit/s). The network in that building (opened in 2021 BTW) saturates at ~250 MBit/s
PR people and politicians always boast about "we need 5G for telemedicine". How about we start with internal comms infra first?

The challenge with AI in open source security has transitioned from an AI slop tsunami into more of a ... plain security report tsunami. Less slop but lots of reports. Many of them really good.
I'm spending hours per day on this now. It's intense.

The original "cyber" in the word cybernetics basically meant "the study of control", so if you're doing the control on the Internet, you can call it cyber-cybernetics.
