So, the first Apex Creditor gig will be at Black Bird Eatery in Sasazuka, Tokyo on 19th December 2026, 19:00. Free in as well, just gotta buy a drink or food or whatever. #ElectronicMusic

I am off to try and book a venue for my first electronic (modular/percussion/tapes) gig, in that Tokyo. Will be spamming here only a bit. Trepidation ensues!

I have a new publication with Gretchen Clark in the European Journal of Education and Language Review about workplace experiences of language teachers with ADHD. :OpenAccess: :boost_requested: https://www.lectitopublishing.nl/Article/Detail/workplace-experiences-of-language-teachers-with-adhd-19337

First time I referenced my doctorate in any music I made.

Just got the contract/acceptance email through for my first book. Co-edited with my partner, with some great abstracts that will be amazing chapters. It's a volume on research collaboration in language teaching research using duoethnography to investigate the collaborative process. I am very excited!

#NowPlaying The KLF (aha aha) - The White Room. Got it for ¥110! @greyor

My new album is out. Within it I reference both Marie Kondo & John Berger. I do songs and I #ambient it up. Pay what you want from now. Free is totally cool by me. Infrapop & Middle-Aged Bubblegum by Apex Creditor.

If you were in Shibuya and saw some whitey wearing headphones and waving a probe near shop lights and monitors, that was me recording the electromagnetic fields. #FieldRecording

Me and @rusty made a mini album of field recording based work as Prompt Engineer. Her is Night Deposits. Feel free to download and listen to your spleen's content.

You can call me Dr Jones today

@threedaymonk following (if that's ok) for music type stuff (modular, non mainstream acoustic) and I seem to share your world view.

Going to see Armen Nalbandian, Sachiko M, and Toshimaru Nakamura this evening. Looking forward to it is very much an understatement. #noise #music #soundArt #tokyo

Currently reading for a lit review and feeling angry. Basically it's on autistic people being able to contribute to the workplace because their capacity for repetitive behaviour can be useful. Instead, can we just value people for being people instead of a eugenicist discourse of superpower being the only legitimate way autistics contribute to society. I hope that the article goes into this because I am not sure I can contain more anger this month. #neurodiversity

Do you like #ambient or #DarkAmbient music? Do you like cassettes? Or perhaps actually owning the music you buy? If so I have an #ambient album available called Unbalanced Humours https://apexcreditor.bandcamp.com/album/unbalanced-humours

It being on Bandcamp you can try before you buy.

Bandcamp followers also get access to an exclusive follower only EP.

It's Bandcamp Friday Eve. I put out a single, Shigin. It's weirdly fancy but in a more trip hop way than my usual stuff. Check it out. Or not.

Is the future of ethical academic publishing zines on paper so as to not have L L M zealots dessicate the planet?

Black Dog's Spanners album is still completely brilliant. When Sasha and Way Out West were on about being progressive house, Spanners was already progress, well done and dusted, and miles more interesting. Though more a home listening album than a set of muntered anthems, it has an amazing dance about in your pants while you're getting ready vibe, and I have actually danced to tracks off it in the olden days in dive bars. It's on Bandcamp and Bleep and record shops. Treat your ears! #techno #np

So, I suppose if I am not using OSF to share data/scripts anymore, I need something else.

Probably my institutional repository could be a good, if difficult place to have files made available. It would also be nigh on impossible to blind for peer review. Same as my own website.

Any other ideas?
