No amount of reservoirs can protect the UK from water shortages if it doesn't rain. If it doesn't rain, there's no water to store. Water is not the only resource that will be impacted on a warmer earth. [2/2] #climatechange #heatwave #weather

Reading at the news about how the UK is entering a drought and how we are entering our 5th heatwave, I am baffled at how climate change is not part of the discourse at all.

The BBC news website allows "certain news" to be commented by readers, the highest comments on these pages are all about how the government is not building enough reservoirs as opposed to what the government is doing to acknowledge the climate crisis and be part of the change. [1/2]
