trying to clean house but hit the Wall of Overwhelm. a few things have been sorted into piles:

- needs to be put away in closet
- needs to leave this room and be put elsewhere
- always, always, the pile of random paper shit that should really be dealt with but no idea how or where to put it

i have been fired by a professional organizer once. she claimed our communication styles were incompatible but i told her my deal up front and she either didn't listen or forgot or whatever. she claimed to be "adhd-informed" but whatever.

i should really just throw all the paper shit away because given how long it's been strewn all over the bed it's obvious i won't miss it, given i haven't yet. 🙄

i don’t miss austin, but i do miss living in a place that has better venues with bands other than the usual locals. i don’t wanna diss duluth, but you can only see charlie parr or trampled by turtles so many times, seriously.

seeing major acts requires a three-hour drive to minneapolis and back. not that i went to very many shows in austin, but it was a hell of a lot more convenient when i did.
