Air Canada continues to outperform my expectations of them. It’s truly impressive.

Much of the hard work of protest is organizing protest, not actual protesting. Convincing folks that they won't be alone if they do stand up / speak loud / walk out.
That’s a first: I called Rogers for tech assistance. After going through about three minutes of phone tree and account verification, a recording said they are experiencing such high call volume that they can’t help at all at this time, and I should try calling “later.”
No hold, no auto call back, no estimate, just: our customer service is so understaffed that on an ordinary Wednesday afternoon we can’t even predict when we can help you.
I thought that only happened during natural disasters. God forbid one happens.
I bet there’s no wait time to order a new phone. #Rogers

If you haven’t heard about the scope of this enormous data breach, it’s worth considering it in the context of all these laws pushing for age gates (meaning, identity verifications)

When governments can stretch across national borders and impose penalties on the digital services providers being used to support privacy and freedom from oppression, we are living in a very dangerous world indeed. This is shocking to me.

“We buried 66,000 men in the first war and 45,000 in the second. We can handle expensive strawberries.”
Absolutely brutal, and true.

Your personal technology should inform you, not inform ON you.
Want to try an eerily cool Mac App tool? It runs locally and sends no data anywhere.
Even if you object to AI, you can use this: it's much more like autocomplete / or spell check.
And it's especially useful if you're writing in a second language -- it works in many languages.
Oh, and it has a free tier forever (perhaps forever) that lets you use it all day to complete up to 100 words. So if you just let it suggest, and then YOU type the suggestion, you're good.
Really one of the most Mac-like apps I've used in a long time.
