I forgot I could do this as a real poll.

What NFL rules need to be re-written?

I don't know who needs to hear this, but #NFL #football is being ruined by chronically bad officiating.

There are some bad officials but mostly bad rules imho. They need to gather a committee of HOF players and work out some critical rule changes.

Which rules do you recommend to be changed?
A) pass interference
B) holding
C) pass reception
D) overtime

Ted Lasso isn't just a television show. It's a special entertainment phenomenon that we may never see again. The writers, cast, and entire production team have given us an experience that brings us together and makes us feel good about life. And in this moment of history, that's a special blessing indeed.

### Animal Blessing

Worship Leaders: Pastor Kirk, Sheri, Alex & Janique

This Sunday we honor the interconnected web and bless the animal companions who enrich our lives. Bring your animal companions along, or invite them to the screen if you're online. If your companion can't join us, or is no longer with us, bring a photo to hold or share. For those who wish, we'll have time for introductions and appreciations.

To help everyone feel at ease, we ask that animals in the sanctuary stay close to their humans and be leashed or otherwise restrained as appropriate. To support those with allergies or other sensitivities, we will hold an animal-free section in the front few rows on the musicians' side of the sanctuary, and joining online is a welcome option too. As always, please care for yourselves and one another by choosing the place and the way of joining that serves you best.

Ok. I'm 0 for 2 now. Proud of the U.S. President's Cup team! 👏 😀

I think it's time I retired from sports prognosticating. It's a good thing I'm not a gambler.

So happy to be wrong about the Commanders! What an inspiring win. 👏 (personal resolve to be less pessimistic).

Well, on this quiet, rainy Sunday it's a tough choice for a sports fan. I can watch the U.S. lose the President's Cup or watch the :commanders: Commanders lose their home opener and third straight.

I think perhaps an afternoon nap might be in order.

Words for the wise.

Ok I'm going on record now. Although it seems that ESPN and many other sports "analysts" have forgotten the Washington Commanders even exist, I differ.

7 teams had a record of 5-12 or worse last year. 5 of those have new head coaches this season.

The Commanders took a different and fresh approach-- keeping their HC (Quinn) and hiring rookie Coordinators on both Offense and Defense.

The two new Coordinators are young and talented. And the defense (terrible last year) was infused with lots of young, free agent talent. Put this with Jaden Daniels' talent and leadership and HC Dan Quinn's experience and you have an explosive group. Watch the burgundy and gold this year. They are going to surprise people. :commanders:

BTW, watch the Jets too. They took a similar approach to coaching from last year. Aaron Glenn may show up some people too. You gotta admire GMs who realize firing the HC isn't always the answer.
