I walked out of my first big exam in my physics class at university, last Tuesday, feeling like I only got a C... the grade came in recently and I got an A! 😮
I'm a bit stunned 😮 lol

From first student contacts with astronauts aboard the ISS to reaching learners around the world, the ARISS and NASA partnership has inspired generations through STEM education and amateur radio.
Today, ARISS is pleased to announce the signing of a new 4-year Space Act Agreement with NASA, building on a partnership that began in 2000 with the International Space Station's first educational payload.

#3307 - Spectrum Allocation
I'm always frustrated when I read an article about #hamradio. They always seem to get something wrong. Because of that, I've written A Media Guide to Amateur Rado. Please feel free to download and distribute it.
I replaced my Matrix handle with a SimpleX address.
More information on SimpleX is available here: https://simplex.chat/
Introducing NetRoll
NetRoll is a public, searchable directory of amateur radio nets, plus a browser-based net logger. List your net even if you never touch the logger.
Have you heard about the latest #AmateurRadio #HamRadio New Digital Mode? Joe Taylor's #JTTY Mode is a non synchronized UTC period communication mode. Robert #W5ITR The #DigitalRanch3r has an in depth look in link below.

#HamRadio people: How do I adequately ground my station if I can't drive a ground rod anywhere?
I'm looking at moving my station into my house from the shed in the back yard and I have no ground rod accessible to me and nowhere I can drive one into the ground because of a concrete driveway and patio adjacent to my office.
What are my options for proper grounding? Am I stuck trying to use a "virtual ground?" Maybe grounding to the electrical ground?
🎉🎉🎉 4 years ago, Libre Space Foundation's QUBIK-3 and QUBIK-4, along with the PICOBUS deployer, returned to space aboard Firefly Aerospace's Alpha Flight 2. #ToTheBlack🚀

So my technician ticket expired right after I moved to Massachusetts, and I am just getting around to renewing. Apparently, the #hamradio rules require that I retake the test and maybe upgrade to general.
If you have taken the test recently (or you're a VE):
Do you know if any of the commercial test prep programs are any good?
Since I had KK6IHP, can I take the general exam directly or do I have to do them both?
This is your official end-of-the-month reminder to go cancel that random subscription you used exactly once.
You're welcome.
The CARA (@G5BK) Special Event Station, GB0GWR, at Toddington Railway Station will be active from 10.00hrs to 16.00hrs local time on Saturday 26th September and from 10.00hrs until 15.00hrs local time on Sunday 27th September.
(I'm not involved this year but also I don't think anyone at Cara promotes stuff here anymore)
