Help, I can't get the fake nazi song out of my head.

An Amazon review for a manual coffee grinder...

And this is why I rarely use Facebook. I spent 10 minutes on the site and saw an actual photo of someone dying pop up in my feed so that's fun and in my head now.

My wife saw this post and laughed because to her "E" means "ecstasy."

Does anyone else feel super cold all the time compared to when your body was fueled by T? I'm on my 3rd day of wearing two hoodies at the same time and shivering at my desk.

I'm not new to estrogen, either. I started E in 2019...

I remember the day my life changed forever.

I was about 11 years old and I finally convinced my mom to buy me Bible Adventures for NES.

I haven't been as happy since.

Look how innocent she is. I bet she's never had to respond to an audit request or conduct a risk review.

I mean, look at her.

I'm Assistant Stage Manager for a #CommunityTheater production of Cabaret and last night we were rehearsing at our city's senior community center. Normally we have the building to ourselves (it's not very large) but last night there was another group that was using the space for their HOA meeting while we were rehearsing "Tomorrow Belongs To Me," a faux-nazi anthem that talks about the beautiful light on the Rhine and how the Fatherland will rise.

Hope that was an interesting HOA meeting.

I have to learn how to take blocking notes tonight at rehearsal. Never done it before. Hooray for being Assistant Stage Manager for the first time!

I'm just going to maintain a page of my word mute list for Sharkey and link it in my profile as a resource for others who need some help starting out with content filtering.

Here's the page!

Congrats to the single international political organization that made it on the list.

Does anyone ever share Fediverse word mute/block lists? Is that a thing?

Let's make it a thing. What's your word mute list look like? Mine's piddly and tiny and ineffective and doesn't use regex like I'm some sort of n00b.

[Update: You can find my (newly updated!) mute list in the next post, which is likely muted by your mute list if you use one... anyway, it uses regex now for case insensitivity.]

When @mhasko@kind.social introduced me to They Might Be Giants in 1998 I never could have imagined I'd hear my 12 year old singing Birdhouse In Your Soul from the next room some day.

My old attic dipole was fed with coax to a balun made of a clip-on ferrite choke wound with breadboard jumper wire, then connected to 14AWG speaker wire. It should have never worked, but it worked great.

Edit: Oh, it was a fan dipole, too! Worked on 10m down through 40m using only the internal tuner on my ic7300.
