When you get out all the ingredients you plan to use to transform a supermarket cheese pizza into a culinary masterpiece,
and then you spot mould. 😱😢
But it was a twin pack of pizzas 😀
Also a twin pack of mouldy pizzas😢
My new all-time favourite thingy from AliExpress: let's you sit your phone on your chest at night, without destroying the expensive fancy high-speed Oppo Super VOOC charging cable which (for some stupid reason decided by engineers who never use their phone in portrait mode in bed at night) plugs directly into the bottom of the phone.
The gadget also has legs which click satisfyingly into multiple positions.
I thought it might be cheap electrically internally, but the phone reported its usual high-speed rapid charging while using the thingy, and the house wasn't burnt down when I woke this morning.
Just FYI, if a profile says "open to short", it does NOT mean that they regard a guy who is 5' 6" (1.63m) as desirable, acceptable, or even worthy as being regarded as a man. 🤪
Oh, I am learning So Much from YouTube this morning.
Mark Bouris on CH 9:
"In corporate world, you have Annual General Meetings all the time"
Umm, no!
The clue is in the word "Annual" - ONCE per year.
Not "all the time" 🤮
Just started a new 4-book series, 4 pages in, only FOUR pages in, I see this:
"… she grinded to a halt."
Oh dear.
🤮😡
"Bogong moths are invading everywhere" shout the headlines covering eastern NSW.
Rest of the world: do we need to add Bogong moths to the list of deadly animals in Australia?? 😱
My data point was me starting to ride down my driveway, and feeling something weird happening on my forehead; a squirming, then vibrating, wriggling sensation which is definitely NOT normal for my forehead.
Rapid dismount, helmet ripped off, sweat band flung off, and discovered that a bogong moth had used the partially unfolded drying sweatband as a hammock, and been disturbed by me deciding to wear it.
Something different on today's ride: 2 separate occasions riding through suburbs (not the lakeside bush tracks) where residents have been standing in the road waving down traffic and warning them to avoid the large snake(s) slithering across or down the road. 😱🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍
So now I have to look up to avoid magpies, and down to avoid snakes.
Gotta love Australia😂
Why has "off of" become so prevalent?
And can it be stopped?😡
Good old days: "It was based on a design"
Now: "It was based off of a design"
Good old days: "He took the box from the table"
Now: "He took the box off of the table"
IMHO, getting a colour-matched chain isn't really worth it 🤷
Too subtle.
I don't regret it, but I don't think I'd ever bother again (unless, as in this case, AliExpress lines up multiple offers and discounts so that it's cheaper to buy a colourful chain than a boring chain🤪)
What's this small white piece? Where does it go, and what's its function? It appears to be something to do with the hydraulic line fittings 🤔
Included in Zrace 4-piston bicycle hydraulic brake kits.
Someone flicked the weather switch from Winter to Summer, so I did my first 50 km bike ride in a long time. 🚲
Also, received my first magpie swoop and strike! I'm no ornithologist, but isn't that early?!? 🤔
