O frabjous day!
Phone storage filled up while I was trying to record audio. I have it set to store as flac.
It apparently records to .wav in A Hidden, Undisclosed Location then converts after recording ends.
Only, this time it threw an error on account of insufficient free storage.
I rummaged around and found a few big things I could archive elsewhere & delete from the device.
But the recording app was sort of stuck. I was pretty bummed out by the idea I might lose the audio.
After dorking around this way and that, I managed to well and truly stop the app & restart it. At which point it recognized it had the intermediate file cluttering things up and commenced with the lossless compression.
Phew!
