Many people think I'm a fool. Some, because I do not have the same knowledge as them. Most, because I disagree with them when they are wrong.

007 #JamesBond isn't just a designation rather than a name. It's a designation for a disposable distraction. An agent sent out to be visible and draw attention while the regular spies get work done in the background

Fucking #clankers are trying to astroturf #pastebin

#LLM is not #AI, and fuck these shitheads.

There is no #Joker, just #Batman's delusion

It's giving me a headache and motion sickness to try to watch

"Hostile Dimensions" appears to be another cool concept ruined by the "found footage aesthetic"

You know what's great about the Apple IIc? It's the Apple IIc every single fucking time I use it. No UI change. No bullshit. Just the same thing every time.

backgrade /bækgreɪd/:
The action of moving backwards along a developmental line of tools, products, practices, etc in order to improve the outcome and/or experience.
(Not to be confused with "downgrading," which can lose functionality and degrade experience.)

If one insists that men /must/ "be manly" and "perform socially-defined male traits," then that one is not a feminist, that one is an asshole.

If you're going to have an AppImage, fine, great even. INCLUDE ALL THE DEPENDENCIES THAT IS WHAT APPIMAGE IS FOR, ffs.

People act like "I refuse to be treated like shit" is some sort of unrealistic, radical position as a requirement for working for someone... That is 100% fucked up.

You can, in fact, do music editing in a video editor like Kdenlive. It has tracks. It has audio-only tracks. You can export as audio-only... It also has plugins for effects cleanup etc...

I need some post-it-note strength Vinyl "labels" that let me temporarily relabel 45rpm vinyl copies of Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" as other records. Like, I want the label to be removable without destroying the original label, but also, I want to "Rick Roll" hipster friends with an other-label...

You can't #copyright #GenAI, which means you can't #CopyLeft GenAI either.
