Mastodon’s new mobile web UI is weird and brittle. Not a fan.

Democracy > Lawbreaking, Lying, Criming, Cheating, Stealing, Defrauding, Hating, Brutalizing, Raping, Abusing, Gaslighting, and all the other things fascists crave.

What is going ON on this Mastodon?

I keep getting followed by these 0-follower, 0-post accounts with names that are clearly fake, based on actual followers of mine.

I've blocked about 25 of these things in the past week.

Hello, @Mastodon? @Gargron ?

ALSO, watch closely and you get to see the greatest swtcheroo in film since Igor’s hump switched sides in YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN: here we have scenes of the dog w/ artificial left front leg, then right, then left, or even both legs intact! Continuity schmontinuity, I say! Woo-hoo! (Or, woof-woof!)

What IS it about #movies featuring humans and dogs as main characters, where every five minutes there must be yet another scene of the dog slobbering its tongue all over the face and mouth of the human? Or show the human drinking from a water bottle the dog *just* licked?

HEART OF THE BEAST, man. 🤷‍♂️

Seen this morning on the back of a pickup truck in #SantaFe.

(Bigger question: would Jesus really drive a gas-guzzler with a planet-killing exhaust pipe like that?)

Um, did I miss the memo?

What happened to digital voice recorders?

Like, Sony’s whole line of them is *gone*?! I

’ve been using a trusty Sony ICD-UX560 model for 8 years for interviews and it’s always been FANTASTIC.

Was thinking of getting a newer model but… Sony’s stopped MAKING ‘em?

What happened?🤷‍♂️

There’s the price of gasoline….

….aaand there’s the price of GASOLINE

The #Frijoles #fire north of #SantaFe has grown *massively* since I was up photographing here in this area last week.

🤷‍♂️

Showed this picture to a #SantaFe Sherrif’s deputy at a coffee shop this morning, asked him what should people do when we see this? Call it in? Surely it’s illegal? Obviously unsafe, toxic etc.

He couldn’t care less. “Yeahhh…,” he said. “Nothing we can do.”

I think he sided with the truck driver🤷‍♂️

Seen in #SantaFe just minutes ago.

Sometimes I wish #NewMexico had a Stand Your Air law, similar to some states’ Stand Your Ground law.

Stand Your Air would let any citizen under immediate threat by excessive toxic pollution and cancerous particulate diesel exhaust, terminate the driver of polluting vehicle with extreme prejudice. 😡🤬

#Frijoles #fire near Nambe north of #SantaFe #NewMexico this afternoon. Now over 2000 acres after doubling overnight.
