Speaking of next time I ride it, I'm not sure my DIY fix for the seat post is holding up. I think i need to do a better job.
Options:
A) redo the steel sheet wrapping, but with smaller segments to avoid friction limitations. Maybe some angle profiles in the wrap too.
B) model and CNC some aluminium plates to go from the rack mounts to hold the seat post. Complex 3D modelling (can prototype with 3D printer)
Halfway up the hill I moved it another cm up.
The scale on it says there is another 10cm of safe adjustment.
I'll probably go up another cm next time I ride it.
Moved it up 1.5cm just to see what that does.
After owning my Aventon Abound for 12 months today i learned the stem can be raised. It's essentially a seat clamp arrangement!

Minimal change, but doesn't *suck*: don't close the table, but when a column needs to get wider then close the table and start a new wider one.
Bit better again: Estimate how variable the width of a column would be and allocate extra space initially to the ones that could be *wide*. Easy for `du`, much harder for others. Generally string fields need more space, SI unit fields and dates don't.

I'm using #nushell more heavily now. And loving it.
But I really wish the output from slow commands would output better.
The output of a slow `du` resulting in a bunch of different width tables is silly.
At the very least don't make later table narrower than the previous one. Try and make the columns line up unless they can't.
And no I can't just switch the keys, as the legends for the layer switch on them doesn't line up then.
Okay I have switched them, as that is less annoying, but it does mean the layer switch legends are wrong.
Got myself some great custom (bespoke) keycaps from #FKCaps. Spent way too much time on getting everything happy.
But then apparently I didn't get the legends to actually fit on the faces of the caps, so I had to edit them after their QC picked up on that (only after making them?).
And now I've had them a few weeks I've realised I got the page up and page down thumb keys switched....
Not worth replacing, but worth fixing before I get sets for the keyboards at home :)
After adding signing of my built nix packages, now this nix-shell steam-run command that used work errors that it can't read my private key. Which I don't really understand.
