This might be a good enough argument to get off of Google.

I am astounded at how good Carney's french is in answering complex questions surrounding the US tariffs.

I have a panel to present at in 2 weeks, in french, and I'm sweating bullets. French is my first language, but I have no french education past grade 9, and have never worked in french. Sometimes it feels like I'm 13 years old and trying to make my way through the adult world.

What he's doing is, frankly, impressive.

Does he have no idea the level of petty spite Canadians hold? After this action we don't even need to set counter-tariffs. Canadians just won't buy American, period, and you can't even fix the damage by reversing the action.
Anyways, off to remove my last two subscription services and to figure out which "Canadian" companies are owned by US shells so I can avoid them too.
Sorry Tim Horton's, your coffee sucks since you sold out to US corporate.

Lake America? You fucking twats.

Each pair better than the previous.
This is my first project out of the ASTM 1006 I recently purchased. We have fire restrictions going which don't allow me to use the coke forge, so the leaves were welded in the induction forge. Easier than last time I tried, but I don't know if it's my technique or the material. Or both, optimistically.

A finish only a parent could love, but they hold my 2" round stock quite comfortably. I'll probably adjust the rein length once I've used them a bit and have the adjustments just right.

Managed a couple of hours in the forge after work today. Making up some tongs to handle some 2" diameter 1006 steel I've just received from https://heritage-iron.com/. So I forged up some tong ends, and drop-tong welded reins on. One went well, the second one I wound up tacking with the mig after the third failure. Welded up fine after that ;-)
