The Weizenbaum Institute (a research institute, not a family foundation) does not seem too responsive.
Last time (1987) the rights were with Penguin in the UK.
These days they may be still with them or possibly with Prof. Weizenbaum's heirs.

We must recognise that espousing the AI delusion is the right choice, career wise. Which is why, when reality comes knocking, we must absolutely remember all those who should have known better but chose to be the useful idiots.
They willfully chose being fashionable over their professional integrity, which means they will do it again next time around.

I can no longer bear shit like "get ready for AI" , be it our schools (!), our offices or anything else.
All is premised on AI going to deliver untold progress and improvement of everything, of which, and I say this in the calmest way possible, THERE IS NO FUCKING INKLING OF A SHADOW OF A SUSPICION ANYWHERE.
It's simply what the sellers and their sicophants are promising since day 1. Which has never materialised, and with increasingly likelihood never will.

Am I the oly one completely unsurprised at RFK jr.'s cabinet cobbling together a report (MAHA, because when a slogan is intelligent it needs to be copied) using bullshit generators?

Let me introduce Walter's Razor: if one answers using bullshit generators (aka LLMs), the question shall be taken away, and the offender will be kicked to the curb.

Apply this at scale, and just Imagine how many high paying jobs (many nowfilled by obnoxious characters) this would create.
