The Russians continue their terror against our people, striking residential buildings and taking lives. This evening, Russia struck a high-rise apartment building in Kyiv with a “shahed” drone. As of now, two people have been reported killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Nine people have been injured. First responders have already extinguished the fire.

This is further proof that Russia must face greater pressure. They are the ones continuing the brutal strikes. They are the ones prolonging the war. Even now, in response to the American proposal – “shaheds.” We count on the United States to recognize these signals from Russia and act with strength. Strength is needed to force Russia to end this war.

A report from the negotiating team following its meetings in the United States and based on daily communication with the American President’s team. Ukraine is ready for real decisions and de-escalatory steps to bring an end to this war closer. Ukraine has supported the energy ceasefire. Our position is absolutely clear: Ukraine is ready to guarantee the energy ceasefire, as announced by the American President, and Russia must take corresponding steps.

As of now, there is no indication that Russia is complying with the conditions outlined by the American President. Unfortunately, there were strikes on our energy infrastructure yesterday, and strikes on our energy infrastructure continue today. All day long, there have been air raid alerts across Ukraine, Russian “shaheds” are being used, and aerial bomb strikes continue. If these strikes are indeed Russia’s response to the U.S. President’s statement, it means the Russians have squandered yet another opportunity to bring peace closer. A lot depends on America’s position for de-escalation to actually succeed. Pressure on Russia is needed. We continue to communicate with the American side at all levels. We defined the next steps and the diplomatic framework. Glory to Ukraine!

Thank you to António Costa @eucopresident@twitter.com, Ursula von der Leyen @vonderleyen@twitter.com, and all EU member states for adopting a new EU sanctions package targeting Russia’s military-industrial complex. It is increasingly evident that Russia is unwilling to accept an energy ceasefire proposed by the United States and intends to continue its terrorist air attacks against our people and communities. Today alone, the Russians have attacked 6 energy facilities in Ukraine. 33 people were wounded across the country. This is what happens when Russia sees the prospect of higher revenues for its war machine. Therefore, more pressure on Russian entities, particularly those involved in ballistic missile and “shahed” production, is the right and indispensable signal if we are serious about ending Russia’s war. I thank everyone who is working to make peace through strength possible.

Today, Russia expressed its thanks for the lifting of sanctions on diesel exports by dropping five glide bombs on residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia. As of now, sadly, twelve people have been confirmed killed, including three children. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Another fourteen people have been injured, and two of them are in critical condition – the doctors are fighting to save their lives. The status of twelve more people who may have been there is still being verified. All emergency services are at the scene, and search-and-rescue operations are underway. Overnight, thirteen of our regions came under attack. Residential buildings, infrastructure, and railway facilities have been damaged.

Last night confirmed once again that in Russia, they take any easing of pressure to mean they can keep fighting, to mean they can keep dropping bombs on cities. Different signals are needed. Russia must understand that it needs to stop the war, and for that to happen, Russia must feel its losses. Right now, it is our long-range capabilities that are ensuring this. And we will respond to Russian strikes. I thank everyone who is helping.

Doctors are now fighting to save the lives of people injured in the Russian strike on Kramatorsk. As of now, 30 people have been confirmed killed, and sadly, that number may rise. The Russian bomb effectively hit two city minibuses. Some of those killed have still not been identified because of the severity of their injuries. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Another 18 people were injured in the strike. Residential buildings and cars were also damaged.

This strike will not go unanswered. Russia is trying to destroy all life in Donbas, and a response from the world is a must. A forceful response – exactly as the Russians deserve for all the deaths they have brought. May all those killed rest in peace.

Thank you, Japan. It’s important that our partners are here, in Ukraine, to support our people amid Russia’s savage escalation of drone and missile terror. Together, we can protect lives, and air defense is key to that.

Last night, the Russians launched more than 100 attack drones at Ukraine, nearly 50 of them jet-powered. Our warriors neutralized most of them, but unfortunately, there were also hits. In Kyiv, “shaheds” struck the Pivdennyi Bridge several times. In the morning, a residential high-rise was hit. Tragically, one person was killed. My condolences to their family and loved ones. In Kherson, the Russians “defeated” a kindergarten; in Kharkiv, they attacked a grocery store, and an institute and critical infrastructure were damaged. Enemy strikes also hit apartment buildings in Kramatorsk and Sumy. The Dnipro, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Poltava, and Rivne regions also came under attack. As of now, four people have been reported injured in the overnight Russian attack. Our services are working wherever they are needed.

No matter how hard Moscow tries to fully localize the production of its drones and missiles, its ability to escalate remains critically dependent on foreign components. These are supply chains running from Europe, the United States, China, Japan, and many other countries. Most of these companies are well-known manufacturers, but their components still make their way to Russia. Every Russian drone can actually be stopped right at the production line. What is needed is the political will of these countries. If the Kremlin has chosen more strikes, sanctions must work and must be strengthened. Thank you to everyone who is helping.

Work to address the aftermath of Russian strikes in our cities and communities is continuing virtually nonstop. They are simply terrorists targeting life, our people, and purely civilian sites – day and night.

In Kyiv, the depot at Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi railway station, data centers, business centers, and residential buildings were damaged. In the Odesa region, the strikes hit an educational institution, a dormitory, and two foreign vessels. The Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr, Volyn, and Rivne regions also came under Russian attack last night. Energy facilities, substations, civilian businesses, and residential buildings were damaged.

There were successful interceptions last night, including of ballistic missiles. Thank you to everyone involved in our defense and to everyone who honors our agreements. I am grateful to our American and Norwegian partners for the NASAMS system and the package of missiles for it. I am grateful to France and Germany for the air defense support package provided in recent days, specifically the missiles. Against the backdrop of Russia’s daily escalation, it is important that the protection of life receive continuous support and that such packages continue to arrive. Thank you to everyone who is helping.
