Dark patterns abound.

[1/2] Over the last couple of months I have been steadly increasing my work with formal methods whenever I prepare bugfixes or patches for the Linux kernel.
Whenever it makes sense I will have agents build LKMM, CMBC, and TLA+ models run them on very beefy machines.
This has been a game changer for me. Before the rise of LLMs using formal methods was just out of reach given the time constraints of our industry.

We gave a talk summarizing the #Landlock changes over the last two years, and what's coming next: Observability, process-wide control, networking and more...

This is the way.

Blob of death. At least it’s only PLA.

Essential tools: diagonal cutters, dremel, heat gun, respirator mask (or open air and tactical breathing). The hot end is pretty tough and I’m yet to functionally damage one with these recoveries, however, be extremely cautious & patient with the wires, they will break off if caught in a block of blob which is being removed too kinetically. Heat that area as the final step, remove gunk.

Looks like I’m printing… fan shrouds today.

The k3 now has stickers. It’s ready.

First pic here is the first Prusa 3D printer.

I was fortunate to tour the Prusa factory in Prague yesterday with @securepaul, where they manufacture most of their product line. Here are some quick highlights.

What's on the stickers? Wrong answers only.

OpenSSH 10.6 has just been released.

This release contains fixes for a few security problems, some new features - including support for a post-quantum signature scheme, and the usual sprinkling of bugfixes

Finally, as a lightning talk I showed a live demo (!!) of a work-in-progress proof-of-concept batshit crazy experiment running #systemd services as kernel-less microvms (!!!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sBZwyKU9D8&list=PLY5ESsVXvwlg&index=22&pp=iAQB
This might go somewhere, or might go nowhere, we'll see!

I found Berlin’s last #electronics store, Segor-electronics in Moabit. Saw some beautiful Knipex tools in their natural habitat. Picked up a few things including this little esp32 device which I suddenly needed, for science.

Day 2 at @allsystemsgo and finally some kernel talks 🐧 ok
