From "The Eye of the Monkey", my new story just published.
I witnessed the horrors of war, the last one, the Second World War. Yet, my friends, in my humble opinion, the madness that arose from the depths of men in the heart of that warring era did not perish with its defeat. For I can affirm that it lies in wait, buried in our souls for eternity. Peace is an illusion that we cannot conquer.

To Erik,
You are correct saying that Trump was not responsible 80 years ago. My point was to remind Trump and is followers that what he is doing now is a blueprint of yesteryear and that Us citizens should remind him, that his actions, revoking citizenship, arbitrary arrests and kidnapping, then sending peoples to deportation camps will not be tolerated. Let's shame him with these photos of people who went through that ordeal in WW2.
Just want to thank all who believe in Freedom, and can see the dangers of would be Fascists we are facing these days.
What happened to NEVER AGAIN?
A Reminder to The Willing Nations:
ACT!
As the late Georges Carlin said " They are coming after your Social Security! They want it all!"
Elon Musk is coming for your Social Security
Elon Musk has used his platform to spread false claims about Social Security, potentially leading to the theft of earned benefits, while President Trump is giving him the power to do so.

THIS IS A RE-POST.
While I was sick with covid and in hospital, Amazon accused me of publishing my books in public domain, and of using a public domain french translation for one of my books "Monsieur Gregoire"
I did not contact them in the five days given to respond and All my book collection has been removed from their site.
Just wanted authors to be cautious with publishing with Amazon. I think they are in fact purging their sites of genuine authors and using AI will probably find a way to steal your work.
