#WritersCoffeeClub How do you make sure you deliver on your writerly promises?
Write the best damn story I can. Revise revise revise. Don't be in a rush to publish. Have my critique group's feedback help me get it right.
The rest (publishing) is up to everyone else. This, though, I can control.
I wrote a story, "Christmas Eve, Present" 20yrs ago... it finally found a home: the publisher loves it! Probs because I kept polishing that story (transgressive fiction) untl it was just right.
