Anyone in Vic want a load of VCRs? https://www.facebook.com/share/17nM3RtNv1/

(no connection to the seller, just wanted to spread the word so they won't end up in the ewaste)

I think the ACCC needs to set down a rule on this. If you buy a thing and it doesn't do what you were told it did, then you would be entitled to a refund. But what if the manufacturer takes away that function 1 5 or 10 years down the track?

so, I have been having this recurring issue where youtube starts buffering like mad around 10/11pm at night. playing 480p and it was stalled more than it was playing, and I have fibre.

Finally found a fix - Chrome mask. This addon for Firefox changes the browser useragent to impersonate Chrome on a per site basis. Once I did that and reloaded its worked perfectly.

Is Google/Youtube doing some fuckery to deliberately break Firefox?

Shower thought of the day: Those who fly within the US and sometimes carry guns for the benefits (mostly allowing you to properly lock your luggage) will sometimes just use a lower receiver because its the part of the gun that counts as a gun.

Would a 3d printed part be sufficiently gun for the US, but then also fly under the radar if you then had to travel onwards to somewhere that is not Very Gun? Or even just discard the print? with careful printing you could make a part that could easily be rendered useless and discarded.

Looking in your direction, @deviantollam

@deviantollam have you seen this key decoder for the flipper? https://www.instagram.com/p/DBMXpZixcp4/

behind every sign there is a story.

I'm getting sick of getting up to let people into and out of my office because they can't figure out how a door works.
