oki it's been 4 yrs so i'm updating my intro post...
hoi, i'm mana!! (though some call me momo or momos or momers)
i'm a mysterious creacher - a blob-shaped pink thing, if you will. i respond to they/she/it - gender is confusing but am femme in nature. (even though we relate more to smol creachers - think temmie undertale, kirby, doro nikke, etc.)

i'm disabled and neurodivergent - in addition to the mental stuff that comes with being an adult survivor of child abuse, i also live with chronic pain disorders (rheumatoid arthritis, ehlers-danlos syndrome, and fibromyalgia) and am prone to sensory overload.
i've been married to my partner for 15 wonderful years and they're very important to me. bc of my illnesses, getting out and socializing irl is difficult, so i try to stay connected online - i'm here for friends!

as far as my interests go, i like gayming, journaling, DIY (especially fiber arts & sewing), art, modding games & technology, web design, reading, anime & manga (though i don't watch or read as much as i used to), and idols (japanese, korean, and also fictional!). i also love all things cute!

(i'll go more in-depth on my interests in a reply to this post since it's apparently TOO LONG :LiquidBeans: )

i'm kind of shy but can be a real yapper once i get goin, and i like socializing but get burnt out easily. if you're ok with a mostly calm and lowkey person who sometimes disappears for a few days at a time to recharge, then we'll probably get along ok!

the following are tags, i added them at the end this time to make it less annoying for people who use screen readers!

Oh my god, these are real, actual slides from a SoftBank presentation. Pulitzer-worthy

sometimes i wish there was smth like a dishwasher for the human body. you know on like a day u have no or low spoons (energy), and you can just sit in the moist dissociation chamber and it’ll wash your body for you? that’d be nice

when i see apt-get i hear rosé’s APT in my head

@Axolotl1 o i wanted to add i also get asked “what’s wrong” a lot when my face is neutral. i’ve been told im pretty deadpan and it’s frankly that just exerting that kind of control over my features consciously to make other people more comfortable is exhausting so ive stopped doing it. i still emote when i want to show emotion but i dont understand the need other people seem to have for me smiling or looking pleasantly at them all the time. im minding my business why can’t they mind theirs? u know?

remember when apps/programs were fun & cute?

i'm starting a new trend where i'm shark-reacting posts i agree with bc the japanese reading of shark "サメ" is spelled with roman letters as "same" and at first glance looks like the word "same" (as in we are the same), even though it's pronounced more like sah-may. this shows my agreement with ur post, ty for your attention in this matter.

saw this and immediately felt seen/represented

was listening to a podcast that mentioned smth happening 10 yrs ago and had to make this meme of my thought process

pat pat pat pat pat get loved, nerd! pat pat pat pat

@yassie_j YASSIE????

neurotypicals aren’t real.

have a transfem friend who has been denied healthcare and has a severe needle phobia and I've seen people here discuss DIY Estrogel, so I was wondering if anyone had any resources on that I could share with her? #diyhealthcare #estrogen #trans

saw on a webbed site recently:
"remember to be gay on the internet, bc otherwise Alan Turing died for nothing"

and I think that's beautiful

@LianSirenia

Ok I will do this one, but just reply with a number, otherwise I choose at random ok? >3<

Ok I’ll bite! Let’s give it a go, shall we?

hoi, I'm mana!✨
I noticed that a lot of others are making #introduction posts, so I thought I'd follow suit.

I like cute things, girly fashion/femme aesthetic, video games (mostly #acnh & #ffxiv), anime/manga (#magicalgirls are my favorite), and idols from southeast asia (why yes I am a big #kpop and #jpop nerd).

I like #sewing and #crochet, and am into designing my own clothes. I love anything pastel, girly, glittery, & soft. I also enjoy trying out new #skincare & #makeup products.
I have #rheumatoid_arthritis and I suspect I might have #eds, bc I have a lot of symptoms of hypermobility. Either way I live with #chronicpain & an #invisibleillness.

I spend a lot of my time playing video games & keeping busy with sewing projects when I have the energy, but on bad days I like to lay in bed and read #manga or watch #anime. Some of my favorite manga are #sailormoon, #cardcaptorsakura, #luckystar, #achannel, and #nichijou. As for anime, I really enjoyed #steinsgate, #madokamagica, and #demichan.
On my good days, I tend to game a lot, and that means #ffxiv, though I also enjoy #stardewvalley, #neptunia, and #touhou_project games.

my main interests though, are idols. I started out as a #jpop girl group stan and became interested in #kpop when the hallyu wave really hit in 2011 or so. some of my favorite japanese groups are #helloproject groups, #akb48, #eribon, #nananiji, #dempagumi, #wasuta, and #babymetal.

as for korean groups, I like #wjsn, #kep1er, #loona, #blackpink, #twice, #gidle, and #izone.

if you like asian dramas, comfy anime/manga, kpop/jpop gg, ffxiv, or cozy games, then let's be friends! I'm also on tumblr & am looking to migrate off twitter. :nyawn:

nyaisu to meet you～! :praise:
