So I got a #StarLiteV from #starlabs What a great tablet. Everything works out of the box and it's fast!

I put Arch on it, btw.

I've been using #niri for a couple of weeks now, and it's really great. I miss two things though:

- scratchpad/special workspaces
- sticky windows
- interactive support for freedesktop.portal.Screenshot

But other than that, it works flawlessly

Hey! If you're riding the #MCP hype train, you might want to check this out:

https://github.com/acuvity/minibridge

#minibridge brings #security to MCP servers, letting you deploy them anywhere with built-in support for TLS and mTLS. You can enforce security policies written in #rego or even fully delegate policy decisions to a remote HTTP server and intgegrate it with virtually anything.

We haven’t officially launched it yet, but hey, my fediverse friends, you get a sneak peek! :)

@thegibson well, look who's here :)

We just successfuly had a chat with a friend over the @VeilidNetwork. It worked through 2 shit corpo networks. This is great. Once Veilid works correctly on FreeBSD, I'll deploy a permanent node. This is pretty exciting

Flathub.org needs a "don't show me proprietary trash" filter, at least

I'm tired of reading random tech company "is destroying the web", "has so much power over the world", "controls the narrative". Yes. They do. Only inside their walled garden. The thing is that the gate is wide open, and you can leave anytime. Users enslave themselves. You can't handcuff yourself then complain it's affecting your freedom.

If you are a Linux dev working on the mobile dev side of the things, I will have a Librem 5 USA to give if you:

- Tell me what you plan to use it for
- Send me a shipping label
