Dinner tonight is #lasagna. Made with #zucchini I finally figured a way to make it that is not watery and holds together when cut.

Will have 2 chunks for supper tonight and freeze the remainder do make 6 more meals for the wife and I. We do not always succeed but one of the things we thought we would do when we retired 12 years ago was makes large meals so we can create future meals and save money and time. So at least this time I succeeded. Oh and yes I normally do the cooking. After we retired I took over that duty since I proved to be good at it.

We had snake orgies in the crotons earlier and these two apparently snuck off to mingle on a hose.

Not sure why but our property seems to host snake orgies in the spring.

So Rabbits are just like children.

My daughter when little if she was given the chance would eat her dessert first.

We tossed a couple slices of zucchini and yellow squash and a piece of carrot out for the yard rabbit. The carrot pieces are always eaten first and the rest by morning.

Going to be out on Halloween night so decided will leave a candy bowl by the door. Was going to just stick a sign to the door with tape when I found the perfect 3d print. Easy to find if you like it, search for magnet on thingiverse.

Living in Florida I do not get to pick many mushrooms. Morels do not grown anywhere here. So I am forced to make my own.

Our house seems emptier today. Yesterday I took Mitzie AKA tail into the vet to have her teeth checked since she was avoiding dry cat food. When they examined her they found the underside of her tongue was cancerous. They said they could remove her tongue but her quality of life would not have been good so we opted to have her put to sleep while still under anesthesia .

No more little black kitty underfoot with her tail straight up in the air. And no more kitty in her own bed. Never knew a cat who had her own bedroom before but she definitely thought it was hers.

That was a surprise, up until 2 days ago she was fine. They said it was just starting to bother her so at least she did not suffer long.
