#AskFedi where do y'all find wallpapers for your phone?

Eins zwei Polizei

@itgrrl @ricci also, this reminds me of a story I recently learned about and had been meaning to post about. Did you know that Margaret Hamilton used to bring her daughter to the lab when she was working nights and weekends, and let her play with the AGC simulator?

Her daughter crashed the simulator by accidentally invoking program 01 and resetting the guidance system to believe it was back on the launch pad.

Hamilton felt that was a pretty serious bug but was told "no, there's no way a trained astronaut would accidentally do that."

A trained astronaut did, in fact, do precisely that while Apollo 8 was on the way back from the moon.

She was allowed to fix it for Apollo 9.

Good morning. I didn't expect to hear we like to party - nightcore today, but here we are!

Having a furry colleague.
Call that having a cOwOrker.

So, if someone were to buy a new laptop in 2026, what would you recommend?

The kids are alright

Wait what do you mean a 9V battery is just 6 1.5V batteries slapped into a different package?

How do you do fellow Americans?

So you're telling me this arcade machine has an attack surfa- I mean, a USB port?? :neocat_catmode:

Do you think they made creepers afraid of cats because of this picture?

Why is it called a diode and not a biode? :ms_bisexual_flag:

So, uhm... #askfedi
Suppose I wanted to get into photography and I wanted to get a decent digital camera, what would you suggest?

It's yotally normal going through two ssh proxies before reaching your final destination, yeah?

Remember, "meow" is always a good conversation starter

In fact you could also write rm -frfr

rm -fr actually means remove for real

Pick me up, carry me to bed and snuggle me until capitalism is over.

EXCUSE ME WHAT

I wish I had functioning cat ears. I would be so much more expressive.

And I could :neocat_pleading: so much more effectively.
