When I started in Android Square was _the_ place I aspired to work. A foolish idea as I was nowhere near ready and never was. But I have learned so much from the engineering culture that emanated from that company it made me 100% a better engineer. I'm absolutely gutted about the layoff announcement.

I'm not sure what to say other than hire a Square / Block engineer today!

Hmmm. I know I say this a lot and then never do anything but.....

How do people blog these days? I love markdown. But I also love images. And embedding the occasional video into a blog. What's an easy way to do this? I also want the option to at least draft something on my phone even if I have to finish it off at home.

I have a bunch of custom scripts to run Hugo and push to GH Pages but is there a better way?

What are some good static site hosting options for a personal blog? Mine is a Hugo custom workflow pushing to GitHub Pages but I miss writing a short blog on mobile from my Blogspot days.

Why isn't the alias `ll` equal to `ls -halF` instead of what it is by default without the Human Readable option?

This way it's far more useful 😄.
