My employer would like you all to know that if you or your company need Object Storage then take a sneak peek at this: https://jottacore.com 🇳🇴

They literally have a feature called "Exit kit" for leaving cloud storage solutions.
The FolioSort app is saving me a lot of work right now, sorting and de-duping tens of thousands of photos downloaded from OneDrive, Google Photos, iCloud.
Do any of the #gamers out there stress eat when they’re losing in game? Or is that just me that’s shovelling half a bag of popcorn down my neck every time I die?? 🍿

I thought I was going to have I build a web app based on open street map to find nearby bicycle parking BUT GUESS WHAT?? Someone had already done it. 🗺️

I had the best-parked bike in Oslo today. 🏆 🔒 🚲
Writing this poll just made me think about my grandma cooking when I was a kid. We had gas ovens (much like my friend still does in Ukraine) and imagine burning gas for four hours just to cook some tomatoes.
Holy environmental impact, Batman.
Just started cooking some tomatoes for… *checks recipe* …FOUR HOURS

Today was my first day working for @jottacloud - the place to go for cloud storage!
#AskFedi — what search engine you using these days? lmk.
🤣
I'd never played Minecraft before she got into playing it, but its a super creative game and my daughter absolutely loves that we game together. 💞
My daughter has been playing #Minecraft :minecraft: and it's been set up through my personal Microsoft Xbox account.
But this week she really wanted me to join her in her world, so I had to figure out how to set up the game to work on our local network in LAN mode, across Windows and Linux.
This involved registering a new Microsoft and Xbox profile for her, but also buying an additional copy of the game and installing the correct mods to give her controller support.
So worth it though.
I found this collective recently called ‘Pull the Plug’ and they are a protest action group based in the UK who are calling for regulation of AI tools.
I emailed them yesterday and asked them to join Mastodon and think you should too.

#AskFedi - what are you all using on Linux to edit RAW photos?
I've always used #AdobeLightroom but I would prefer to not use it. I am currently on a 7 day free trial of #CaptureOne and - and its really nice - but the only Macbook I have at home probably needs to go back to my ex-employer soon, which will leave me with just a linux-based laptop at home.
So yeah, #photographers of #linux, tell me how you are editing your photos!
My mum: "I've been in the attic and these are yours. Do you want them?"
Me: "Of course. Do not throw them away."

Not really an iOS user anymore - but the whole range of apps from @heliographe_studio look super. ✨️
Black and white film photography app, a raw format shooting app, a panoramic camera app, a camera app mimicking the original Macintosh's signature Atkinson dithering - if any of these sound appealing, check out https://heliographe.studio for all the download links.
