@partim speaking of Schiphol, does anyone have a good recording of the "you are delaying the flight" announcement? I've been threatening to offload my kids' luggage for years.

Say what you like about Bazball, but if you'd told anyone ten years ago England needed 350 more runs to win going into the last day of a test with 10 wickets in hand, they'd have assumed they were in for a ground-out draw. But instead we're looking forward to a thrilling final day with all four results possible. #cricket #ENGvIND

Holy moly! Do yourself a favor and watch the last bit of the Gloucestershire v Glamorgan #CountyChampionship #cricket match https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0-IP7CK9Fs&t=27680s

Why is Gurbaz not keeping? #BANvAFG #cricket #T20WorldCup

I'm choosing to adopt the arbitrary convention that #IRL is the sporting abbreviation for the Republic of Ireland (in soccer, Olympics etc) but #IRE is the all-Ireland team in #cricket and #rugby. (I have no idea if this has been settled for real.) #Ireland

It would be more satisfying for #USACricket to qualify for the Super Eights by winning this #cricket match, but a washout ensures three more games in this #T20WorldCup and automatic qualification for 2026. #USAvIRE

Has anybody heard the official interpretation of the first tiebreaker in the #cricket #T20WorldCup, which is (if teams are level on points) "a) The team with the greatest number of wins in its Group will be placed in the higher
position". Does a Super Over count as a win or a tie for that purpose? Otherwise the only way teams could be level on points but not on wins would be if someone had two no results. https://images.icc-cricket.com/image/upload/prd/euhohq8vpgzi0urumg3y.pdf

Amazing timing by #ESPN in the USA dropping all their #cricket coverage just in time for the US co-hosted #T20WorldCup. I guess they got outbid by #WillowTV but way to make sure no new fans start following the sport.
