No, you can't have access to the API, even for this very reasonable use case.
Also them:
Please try our brand new MCP with full access to our services and no guardrails.
It would be a pity if someone used the MCP from a script.

Can we start calling vulnerabilities caused by using LLM Agents "viberabilities"?
The main thing I learned from the Claude Code leak is that they plan to go out of business before anyone has to maintain it
Unpopular Opinion: if the the categories are broad enough, and the system just accepts what the user inputs without question, then having an API apps can use to control access for minors is the least bad solution to the problem. We need to have standard for parental controls, and I rather have them controlled locally rather than having to send private info to a service like most EU countries are going to demand.

It seems that, despite all the rust cult's assurances, real applications can have bugs that are not memory management related.
And that maybe replacing a time tested solution with a rush job to prevent one category of bugs is not such a great idea.

Now would be a good time to close every single Russian embassy in Europe (the best time would have been in 2014).

Anyone wants to bet an #LLM was involved in this?
Use SaaS they said. It will reduce the amount of work, they said. You will get new features faster, they said. Our proprietary features are best-in-class, they said.
That costs extra, they say. And that's not supported, they say. It's not on our roadmap, they say. We were bought by another company and are shutting down the service next year, they say.

Dear #Pope #LeoXIV, #atheism didn't invade #Ukraine #atheists didn't murder and kidnap innocent people in #Israel, and it wasn't atheists answering by mass murdering civilians in #Gaza. It's not the "atheists" that are kidnapping and sending people to concentration camps in your home country. No, the world's problem is not "living ... in a state of practical atheism", so please stop throwing stones.
Kindly, an atheist

I just ruined a very time consuming #SQL transaction because I mistyped `COMMIT`. How's your Thursday going?
I only have one comment about #chefsache 's winner: https://youtu.be/_zfnlkiPCVA
Lila Shapiro's article about #NeilGaiman's history of sexual abuse (12ft.io/https://www.vulture.com/article/neil-gaiman-allegations-controversy-amanda-palmer-sandman-madoc.html) is one of the most gut-wrenching things I ever read.
The most dismaying part of Musk's conflict with the rest of the American #fascist movement over #immigration is seeing how much of the American #left has embraced the America First mindset. They rightfully point out the problems with #hb1 visas, but they almost universally turn against foreign workers instead of standing for humane immigration policies.
https://gizmodo.com/amazon-reportedly-ditches-just-walk-out-grocery-stores-1851381116 immediately reminded me about @pluralistic's https://pluralistic.net/2024/01/29/pay-no-attention/#to-the-little-man-behind-the-curtain blog post. Every time we look behind the curtain, we see modern "#AI"s are built on intellectual theft, exploitation of the global south, or, more often than not, both.
Came to the #office for the first time in a few months, and I already spent 1 hour and half waiting for the person that can activate my keycard that somehow was deactivated. I can already feel 100 times more #productive than working from home. #WorkFromHome #ReturnToOffice
