She keeps trying to fact check things that are irrelevant. Seems unable to accept public criticisms, you’re a councillor, that’s life, you have to deal with it. You won’t win everybody.
Just campaign as a winner and someone in the front. That’s it.
Lily Cheng is running quite a bad campaign in #Willowdale. She was better as a brand new candidate 4 years ago when her only record was community advocacy.
Now as an incumbent she handles criticisms very bad. She’s arguing with other candidates at 11PM at night on Facebook. Seems very childish and makes her look weak and afraid.
She’s going to win with a divided opposition and name recognition, she shouldn’t waste her time giving attention to the other candidates.

I however switched from French Public to English public to vote for Choi in the trustee election

C'est en lien à une controverse où le parti conservateur s'était plaint que le député francophone de St-Boniface s'était exprimé en français à l'assemblée (ce qui est pourtant un droit dans la loi du Manitoba de 1870).

Of course Florida is a tourist state. They are likely shooting themselves in the foot at the same time. And their plan to cancel property tax for locals is insane.
But that’s on them.

Essentially #Florida is introducing a foreign owner tax. That’s fine by me, we do the same in Canada to protect our housing from being bought by people that don’t truly live here and it should help local residents with cheaper housing.
Les systèmes de transport rapide peuvent pas dépendre de places de stationnement.
Tu dois utiliser le réseau d'autobus comme feeder, tu auras jamais assez de place de stationnement.
C'est un problème que les gens dans l'article disent qu'ils prenaient l'autobus avant et asteur prennent leur auto pour se rendre.
Ces bouchons rappellent, en tout cas, toute la complexité de l’affaire. Si l’on ajoute des cases de stationnement, on risque d’accroître les problèmes de circulation !
