The iPhone 18 Pro Camera app finally has proper manual controls: aperture, shutter speed, manual focus, a histogram and white balance.

I made a walkthrough of what each one does.

Tim Cook steps down tomorrow. His real legacy isn’t a single product: it’s privacy, environment, health, and leaving Apple in the strongest position it’s ever been in.

The best camera is the one in your pocket. These are shots I didn’t set out to take. See something I like, I take my phone out, Snap. All shot with @halide on iPhone 17 Pro Max. #shotwithhalide #shotoniphone #photography

@stephenrobles Hey Stephen, I’m trying to run a Shortcut on macOS Tahoe that uses Get Contents of Folder on my Desktop, but it keeps saying it doesn’t have permission to access the files. I’ve already given the Shortcuts app Full Disk Access, and the exact same shortcut works if I point it at my Downloads folder. The only difference is that my Desktop is synced with iCloud Drive. Do you reckon that’s why Shortcuts can’t access it, or does this sound like a Tahoe bug? Thank you :)

I bought @ismh86’s Apple History Calendar and now it's on my TRMNL e-ink display every single day. If you're an Apple nerd, just buy it. I think you're going to love it.
