Thank you to everyone who showed support and #PATsolidarity with #Portland #teachers as we went on #strike for #students, 95% of us teachers voted to ratify our new contract guaranteeing the end of the strike! #union #UnionStrong #Oregon

#PAT and #PPS have settled on a tentative agreement, and #Portland #students and #teachers will return to #class two hours late, and eleven days have been added to the school calendar to make up for the missed #school days. We vote to ratify Tuesday, so we’ll be going back before we have a guarantee ratified contract and we’ll have only so much time to go over the agreement. https://opb.org/article/2023/11/26/portland-public-schools-teachers-strike/

Come and show #PATsolidarity and tell #PPS Board of Ed that their rejection of a bargain recommended by THEIR OWN BARGAINING TEAM is a disservice to #Portland #students as #teachers continue to #strike for them. You can meet at Multnomah Co offices for 3:30, teachers are ready to go to the #table, is the district?! #Oregon #union #UnionStrong #OneDayLongerOneDayStronger
