Hi! I have a question to my Fediverse bubble: I'm thinking of buying a new laptop. The modularity of Framework is appealing to me. Should I buy one? If not: why, and what are the alternatives?

(Feel free to boost for reach.)

Someone dropped this bomb in a self-help group chat, so I'm just repaying the favor:

"If you were lazy, you'd enjoy your time."

Mental health becomes way easier when you realize that most negative self-talk boils down to "I should have been a demigod who can see the future."
