I do love a fun-packed, rewarding Saturday morning.

I've organised my non-fiction books by Dewey Decimal number.

Before deciding on future conditions, how about prosecuting them for their actual, real crimes that have and are happening NOW!

F*cking arse-backwards!

Got the urge again to find a DEC VT420 and hook it up to a RPi running a BSD.

I keep having this thought. Time to start saving!

Oh, bugger! TV Licensing are on to me 🤣

Your IN01O0 (yes, they have mixed zero and oh chaotically)

Dear Legal Occupier,

An IN01O0 code has been issued against your address. We use it to target unlicensed homes like yours that require a visit from our Enforcement Officers.

This letter is a formal notification that your details have now been passed to the Enforcement Team for your area. And you could be visited any time, day or evening, weekdays or weekends.

We need to check you are not breaking the law.
------ 8< ------

1. Not how civil enforcement works!
2. Why is a visit required? Under what legal power?
3. What are they enforcing? No warrant issued; no law broken.
4. This is harassment / attempting to obtain money by menaces.
5. Letter likely unlawful, using clearly defined and understood legal terms incorrectly.
6. No legal requirement to contact them except when a licence is required.

#TIL: Those signs from above? Turns out they're from ear-wigging café staff!

No gods needed 😂

Terrorism isn't really that big a problem in the UK.

Successive Governments' obsession with everyone-not-them being a terrorist is.

The Government are the biggest terrorist organisation in the UK, but they won't proscribe, and prosecute-behind-closed-doors, themselves.

So Gavin Newsom wants an AI kill switch.

Question: Is that connected to the computers or the billionaires?

Can I have some help with Job #2, please lovely fedifolks?

If you saw a pop-up community café with the name SS Teapot, what would you assume SS stands for?

Please boost for widest sample. Thanks 👍

Bristol-Weighting for Pay

I release that this is about Bristol City Council staff, but as one of the largest employers in the City this has broad potential. Just getting the Council to debate this will bring much needed attention.

Please support Unison's call for a Bristol-weighting on pay.

Please do not scream into the void.

The void has a headache after the long weekend.

I know nation-collapse can be a slow process but come on! Even the USA is failing at failing by taking way too long.

Bored!

This attack on the Rule of Law needs to be stopped.

This is meant to be one of the "British Values" and our own government is not just failing to uphold the rule of law but actively dismantling it!

• Closed courts
• Single justice procedure
• Prosecuting legal counsel
• Withholding information from jurors
• Sentencing unrelated to conviction
• ...and so on

The USA needs putting out of our misery 🤣

Apparently in tech, one moves fast and breaks things.

I propose that we move fast against and break all billionaires: seize their assets; redistribute their money to the poorest in society; and lock up the board members and C-suite occupants from their businesses.

Don't give them chance to even try thinking!

@LibertyForward1 Please don't take this the wrong way but given you've mentioned MH and university struggles, I'd suggest either a community college with good additional learning needs support (US lingo may be different) or a short online course.

Take a small bite or take a larger bite with support and see how things go.

Once you find studying and learning styles that work for you, you are now qualified/certified in something and armed for full academic carnivore mode (if you still decide that's the way to go).

All of my jobs would go on just the same: AI-free always. There's a lot of cheering for and promotion of AI at one place but it can't do my job.

My field is people and community: something AI has no concept of and can not fake.
