Oooh, what’s this? A postcard, don’t mind if I do.

Every election should have a “none of the above” option and if that gets the most votes then they have to do the election again with new candidates

So for the first time in must be 10 years, my Mother in Law is visiting, which is nice.

But on the other hand, the TV is on (which involved me creating an account on the Ch 9 app because we don't actually have a TV, just a projector and AppleTV).

Two more (small toe repairs) done too. (also in purple).

Apparently I've been doing IT wrong my entire career.

I'm off to find some Gin.

I have repaired two more socks. This time heel repairs rather than the usual toes.

Quite a few people have sent me the "Passkeys are a trap. Do not use them." post on Substack.

The post recommends people abandon passkeys and stick to passwords + TOTP, citing what appears to be concerns with attestation as the primary reason.

I’ve written a rebuttal as this is really dangerous advice and it's based on some incorrect technical claims.

Wothout looking it up...

Trolling my work colleagues…

I read some post about how Mastodon consists primarily of German-speaking creatures talking in English. I'm gonna do a poll, need to test that. Boosts highy appreciated!

So, do you speak German?

Say hello to my little feathered friend.

My daughter just made the most beautiful loaves of bread I've ever seen

Brisbane peeps!

Mike from Melbourne is visiting. We're planning on going to Italia Lane in the Valley tomorrow night for dinner. Anyone interested in an impromptu meetup?

(answer quickly, I need to book)

Ordering from yet another FNQ coffee plantation/roaster. Haven't really had a bad batch of beans from any of them so far, but this time I'm going with Domigo.

After our union rally, we went for a succulent Chinese meal.
