I made a swivel mount for my pegboard! Look at those easily accessible tools!!

It's mostly scrap wood, got the pegboard from a garage sale, and the remaining bits (e.g. hinges) are from our local hardware store.

It works so well! And the process was fun, I learned a lot about working with wood. Mistake -> brainstorm fix -> try again -> repeat.

Hey @sundogplanets, your goat photos are so cute 🥺 thanks for sharing them!

I've been showing them to my partner and she asked what happens to them when they grow up, and I realized I did not know... so where do they go?

@CoMaps Hey comaps, how are the public transit routes generated? Driving and walking seem pretty good, but I don't want to walk 2 hours 😅

Just started using comaps and it's great :)

Discord? No, we're on Zulip. We use Revolt. Just download Jitsi. It's on Stoat. You can use Matrix. Have you tried Blorgo? It's literally on Flob.

@mellifluousbox 👉🥺👈 Felix please, the character limit for toots on mastodon.social, it is too small for me 😭😭😭😭😭

Seeing llm prompts with ALL CAPS for the very important parts of the prompt are so funny to me

It gives "I yelled at my computer to produce an app but the output was wrong so now I'm yelling LOUDER, that'll work, surely"

can't wait for the llm slop bubble to pop

also ai isn't real

also tech bros please stop yelling at your computers that's not very nice

"this server is shutting down because we can't pay to host it anymore, however join our discord which is staying up (presumably because it's free)" is TRAGIC and makes me SAD

What if there was some sort of fedi community fund that server admins could apply for to fund their instances?

Or resources on how to optimize server costs?

How do we keep big steve's balloon bungalow up and running and not absorbed by the evil that is discord????

He is here!!! The boy!!! Hello boy!!!

Is there a way to browse posts that have multiple tags in them?

Text search depends on them being next to each other and in order, so that doesn't work

I can seemingly only browse one hashtag at a time
