I'm trying to pick out a #Python formatter for my #NoGenAI project and, it's bleak out there.

Yeah, fine, CPython has slop code in it now. But so does the standard black formatter... and the only other formatter that both performs adequately, and seems much maintained is ruff, which is actually owned by OpenAI!

I guess there's no need to standardize the formatter part. I can just set up CI with flake8 and let contributors decide what they're comfortable using to format.

I've meant to write a #Renpy integration of some kind for #Lisien for some time, but haven't got around to it. Now that it's become apparent that lots of people are unhappy with the fact that Ren'py has been using LLM code generation since 2021, it might be time for a hard fork, and that fork could use Lisien as its save/load system.

Anyone want to help me with this? I'm good at #Python, but haven't really hacked on Ren'py before.

Supposedly, https://copy.fail has been patched on Ubuntu, and therefore, on Mint 22.3, which I use; but I've run apt update && apt upgrade over and over, and the copy_fail_exp.py script still gets root. What am I missing?
