This does indeed rule, as does the new podcast hosted by @imyke and @jsnell, Designed in California, which does a deep dive into the full history of Apple. The recent episodes covering Apple's search for a new OS in the 90's is fascinating for people new to the lore, but even as someone who had some idea of the history here there was a lot to learn.

#askatp @atpfm Is @siracusa grabbing the next Mac Studio or keep the Pro until it's not supported? Pt II: What about gaming? Wait for Steam Machine? Buy/build a Windows (or Linux? 👀) PC?

@caseyliss There might be a problem with how Callsheet handles anime. I'm a fake anime fan and mostly watching because my kid wants to go see the movie before the theater run is over. I know enough to know that there are different ways that handle anime at least in the apps you might use when things fall off of trucks. Kimetsu no Yaiba with no qualifier is what shows in netflix and works, the other sub-arcs don't.

Also funny, after I got done explaining how we could emulate these in a browser because our computers are so much faster these days, they started asking why infinitemac was sooooo slow. Had to explain that was part of the experience, this was intended and what computers were really like 😂

My 12 year old mentioned being interested in older OS's, so inspired by a recent @atpfm episode, we went and checked out infinitemac.org, then a bunch of different game emulators, up through XP. Listen, 2025 is mostly a shitshow, but it is SO COOL you can just run this stuff in a browser almost instantly.

Folks, we're cooked. The debutante who had a brain worm that dropped a bear carcass in Central Park in between falconing and going to an expensive steakhouse has endorsed a convicted fraud also found guilty of sexual assault. Def not weird. #TheyNotLikeUs

okay I am sorry but i just did a couple of hours worth of basic adult shit and have not received any sort of trophy or monetary reward. Thanks a lot, society.

@atpfm #askatp How do you keep projects that are using source control in sync across machines? Yeah, dumb question, but it's annoying to realize I didn't push my project before packing up the laptop and having to dig it out.

@RecDiffs @hotdogsladies @siracusa my sweet buttery Christ. 2024 is the year I got “honk if you’re horny” being a double entendre.

Hey @siracusa, have been able to compare fan noise on the the PS5 original vs Slim, and if so any thoughts?

And that was a very good episode. Bees knees and all that.

NPH makes a really, really great #DoctorWho villain.

I was checking out at the store and the older guy in front of me was joking about getting carded and see says his birthday (12/29/61) and I said “wow that's cool mines 12/28" to which he replies “yeah we're almost social security age" so if anyone needs me I will be walking slowly into the sea…

Callsheet being available at least on Apple Silicon Macs might be what gets me to finally ditch this old-ass iMac. @caseyliss if you shipped this as-is for Mac I'd still use it 100% over imdb, and there is very little I'd change to make it a better Mac citizen.

@RecDiffs @hotdogsladies @siracusa Anyway, fun topic. If we turned this into a coolest collabs thread, holy shit I'd be here all night. Pick basically any name in this thread, and they've worked with someone amazing that you didn't expect. anyway, go listen to @RecDiffs, my favorite show about buying a refrigerator and learning if we can even do a vacation (I told you I was bad at pitching this.)

@RecDiffs @hotdogsladies @siracusa And we can pull that thread a little more. Tom Morello, probably one of the best/most influential guitar players in the last 3 decades, would also go on and form another supergroup with members of Cypress Hill and Public Enemy. They sound like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2220MdXVPGw

@RecDiffs @hotdogsladies @siracusa Easy my children, you take all of the instrumentalists from Rage, add Chris on vocals, and form Audioslave and become known for this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rm1nCYOZB-s, though I'm partial to [Cochise](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KDMvN45sjo4) and [Shadow on the Sun](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGYGfaM694M)

@RecDiffs @hotdogsladies @siracusa But folks, we're not here for Chris's solo work (I'm always here for it, actually) we're here for Supergroups. So what happens when political protest rap-rock group like Rage Against the Machine have a falling out with the lead singer? A band that made [Killing in the Name](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8de2W3rtZsA), [Calm Like a Bomb](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKm6GkXOHCc) and [Guerilla Radio](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rm1nCYOZB-s)?

@RecDiffs @hotdogsladies @siracusa Alright, lets cd ../../.. a few times back in this thread to Chris Cornell. Post Soundgarden, Chris releasesd a bunch of bangers solo like [Can't Change Me](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecoWjR3fDT0), [Seasons](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uwT1Q6JeB4), and [Nothing Compares 2 U](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuUDRU9-HRk)

@RecDiffs @hotdogsladies @siracusa Them Crooked Vultures self-titled, aka the album that carried me through 2010 had personal faves like [No one loves me and neither do I](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMLHqAUyhEk), [Scumbag Blues](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8MlvHJPveY), and [Elephants](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkUMp7oWXvc)
