This is really rough, but:
(1) Tokenmaxxing: APIs, cutting-edge everything
(2) My Job Is Prompt: APIs, extensive agentic coding management
(4) The Vibes Are Good: chat/APIs, casual vibecoding, "make me this," going by instinct
(4) My Brilliant Friend: chat/APIs, careful prompts, one-off projects

It's always fun in vi when I accidentally hit a digit key without noticing before hitting I for insert mode, type for PARAGRAPHS, then hit Esc

For me to get a sense of horniness seems to be concurrent with, and as uncertain as, getting a sense of my muscles.

Lord, give me the confidence (not to mention balance and skill) to undertake any board-based water-sport in a full-length dress.

I need a fridge magnet set where I get to dress up an Asian bear. I guess a stuffed animal version is also acceptable.

The two keys to success are consistency and variety

my review is late because

[Reposting—Also, extended talk submission deadline!]

Lying to LLMs is fun

Still thinking about the speaker who told us yesterday that Merck would outsource regulatory compliance to AI agents so they could focus on their core competence of making drugs.

"You're wrong because Hume never had a job!"
"Well you're wrong because Kant never had sex!"

The mayor has apologized, but no police has been charged.

🥵 The key is to distract myself from fatigue but not from form 😇

Taiwan's Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA) has established the Artificial Intelligence Evaluation Center (AIEC), which "will periodically publish benchmark evaluation results for language models. In addition to adopting indicators based on the Chinese Language and Social Studies sections of the national high school entrance examination, AIEC also incorporates evaluation criteria reflecting Taiwanese values, aligning with global trends in AI sovereignty."

If you think that there is a unique “the” other side, both you and your guest are already so deeply in the grips of ideology that a lunch date will not help.

I’m happy to share that our paper, “Refined² Environment Classifiers,” has been accepted to OOPSLA 2026!
https://conf.researchr.org/track/splash-2026/oopsla-2026

The paper introduces a novel typing discipline for MetaML-style multi-stage programming that ensures safe code generation even in the presence of computational effects.

When I say “Starting FORTH” is an excellent book it is because of the hand-drawn illustrations as much as for any other reason.

When the bar manager protested the officers' actions, they were handcuffed and even forced to kneel. Reporters were also allowed to enter the scene alongside the police, treating the principle of non-disclosure of investigations with total disregard.

The search lasted for nearly five hours. When confronted by the public afterward, the police claimed they "did not conduct a search, but merely an identity check," and told citizens, "If you're dissatisfied, go ahead and sue."
