Je suis en train de lire "le grand abandon" par @pluralistic que j'ai trouvé un peu par hasard dans la bibliothèque de mon quartier. Je sais que c'est un peu cliché de dire ça, mais ce roman de scifi publié en 2017 est étonnement pertinent à ce que se passe actuellement dans le monde et plus particulièrement en France (la parallèle entre les polices chassant les abondonneurs et le mouvement de lycéen.ne.s ne m'a pas échappé)

Please think harder and stop repeating the nonsense produced by lobbies and forces trying to destabilize European society. Europe is not America, lets stop trying making it look like it. @mitsuhiko You didn't discuss why productivity may not be the only value searched for by European citizens. You didn't write that unregulated common European markets will increase the risk of monopolies that ravage through America now. You talk about climate (thank you for that), but you confuse the adaptation (use of AC) with the attenuation. You talk about (clean) energy abundance, but you fail to notice that its deployment is crippled by fossil fuel interests. 4/n
@mitsuhiko Your essay has also other drawbacks. You write about demograhic crisis, but you don't mention that it's also the result of rising costs of bringing up children. You write about decay of public services, but you forget to say that it results from neoliberal policies that have been raging through Europe over decades. J'ai droit à prendre n'importe quel train de Berlin à Frankfurt, mais j'ai peur que je rate la connexion et je n' aurai aucun droit de passager. Est-ce que je peux prendre un train la veille ou je peux compter que le train à Frankfurt à 11h01 attendra l'arrivé de mon train de Berlin (prévu à 10h50)?
