Bixonimania doesn’t exist except in a clutch of obviously bogus academic papers. So why did AI chatbots warn people about this fictional illness?

A fairly productive year, got a lot read and the to read list is getting a little smaller. Can I equal this for 2026?

Ok, little bit further down the rabbit hole with Australian music in the 1980s.

Some of these were a little before my time in 1980 - bit too young for music then but so many great bands that were the soundtrack for our teenage years.

Check 'em out!

I imagine this is what my mom's career as a nephrologist is like.

Last week I took part in the NSW Aerobatics Competition at Narromine, about 300 km NW of Sydney. Competing in Entry (beginner) flying an R2160i we completed 8 manoeuvres on a set routine and scored for accuracy.

Really pleased to say I came first, with just 0.3% separating first and second!

A really exciting 3 days, learnt a lot and I think I’m hooked!
