I just boosted Aretha Franklin's scene. It made want to share my old Blues Brothers pixel.

If you run a well-established Mastodon server you get armies of automated bots to deal with, they use Mastodon to launder posts into BlueSky via the bridge between networks. This stuff never stopped.

In this case they use a datacenter in Manchester, UK to do the posts.

The Yandex decrease in threat activity narrative was a nonsense peddled by the Ukrainian government. People confuse legit search engine bots with social media bots.

Russian propaganda operations don’t run from Yandex. They never have. I deal with them all the time on Mastodon. There was no dip.

It’s a reminder that wars have propaganda - and the propaganda was coming from Ukraine this time.
