🌟 Only bought one book at the bookstore

I decided I should read The Dresden Files.

Will I be able to overlook the rampant, casual misogyny or should I give up 9% into the first book?

J is making his to-do list for the day

(there's a new romance bookstore in Hillsboro)

I fear I have entered a "fuck it, I'm getting a tattoo" phase of life.

And look, I get it. I still heavily rely on Amazon. I supplement my cold brew coffee habit (beans purchased from ethical roasters!) with Nespresso pods. When we first moved to Portland, we shopped at Target a few times. We bought a Tesla in 2020 even though we knew Elon was terrible.

But I've never tried to tell anyone that these companies are great, actually, if you use them correctly.

No, no, you don't get it. I don't go to the areas where the nazis are in the nazi-owned nazi bar so it's really okay for it to be my favorite watering hole.

people are freaking out about the bubonic plague but covid is still doing very real damage and people don't give a single solitary fuck

I really enjoyed playtesting this adventure! If you're a DM, or know a DM, backing this project is a no-brainer.

I'm tired of so many things being the color of sad oatmeal.

J: So you didn't mention that we don't have time to go to a bookstore because we need to get home and set up your desk so you can be ready before tomorrow's @TPK recording?

A: Didn't seem relevant.

I was like, "What bookstore are we going to go to today?" and he said, "We're not going to a bookstore today."

☹️

It is $165 for a thrift store (ReStore) to come pick up a couch.

I'm not against paying a fee, but $165?! Holy schmoly.

imagine being so insecure that you freak out when another human uses they/them pronouns for themself

reason for divorce:

anyway good news: my desk was delivered

bad news: we discovered that a cat has been peeing in the corner of my office

your regular reminder that "I'm apolitical" is actually a political stance
