Predictably, this crumb is too dense. I may just ditch this lame, it's been nothing but disappointing. Back to a sharp serrated knife.

#baguettes

Not enthusiastic about this lame, though. These cuts were not clean, and finally not deep enough.

We'll know after they set. At least there's crackling now that they're cooling, so that's a good sign.

Success or failure? Only the future knows...

It's not called Twitter, and your refusal to call it by its actual name just makes people think it's still the same service, just "bad", rather than *literally not being Twitter anymore*.

It's called X. Call it that. Especially if you hate that name: *that is what it is*.

Really looking forward to all this reno nonsense to be done, I need my garage back as a workspace instead of "storage for contractor's crap for over half a year now".

"Citroen revives the 2CV for an electric age" who wants a 2CV when thinking about it a literal second longer would have made you go "ooooor we could just make an EV version of the goddess".

(The third nose version)

Hey let's make some char siu and cover the entire ground floor in smoke, that'll be fun, right?

Despite the complete nonsense that was this bake, they turned out nice. Crunchy outside, soft chewy inside, and just enough salt.

Not quite the internal structure your want, but given this butter, I have no idea how your even get that.

Guess we'll find out how bad, or hopefully good, these are after they cool down.

This was an hour of baking. Which is *insane*, it normally takes 20 minutes.

La la la post-2022 Canadian butter is shit la la la we'll see how this turns out.

There are a bunch of really dumb things about this LG oven... like no way to manually turn the fan on or off, and the fact that there are three hidden modes under a "more settings" button, which is on a row that has space for four more buttons below it.

Just... just add those things as dedicated buttons then? Do you people not USE the products you're designing?

And no, of course the answer is they don't.

Didn't want to wake up at 4am, so these will be lunch #croissants.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you're going to draw wings on a human: the first place they should anchor is into the shoulder blade, at the ball socket. Because a wing needs to be able to move.

Obviously, that already has an arm because you're trying to draw a fantasy humanoid, so the next best place is "as close to there as you can get".

By all means, don't bother with a biomechanically accurate keel, but stop fucking drawing them attached at the mid/lower back.

Mighty Hunter Maokun has managed to capture another pomelo. They are tasty *and* make great hats!

The US just sanctioned the entire International Criminal Court. Banks froze accounts, US tech vendors cut off licenses and updates, and YouTube pulled 700+ videos of possible war crime evidence. ⚖️

If one executive order can switch off a court, your family photos aren't safe on American clouds either. 🇪🇺

So Anthropic owns Bun, and Cloudflare owns Deno, and the community owns Node? Am I understanding this correctly?

Ramen dinner with some "flavour added" egg.

<painter> "coming in!"
<me> "...did you work in a kitchen?"
<painter> "I... yes, I worked in a number of kitchens before I left because there were too many grumpy old men. How did you know?"

There is only one industry where you make sure people know you're about to open a door.

kinda weird how when an existential threat to free culture works came around every organization whose stated purpose is to protect free culture works went out to lunch and never came back
