TFW you see people thinking the Bad Things that happened to other people in other places in a very similar situation won't happen to them because they're special, apparently.

Okay, so a two-jab hangover on top of four hours sleep. Glad I work from home, because my last nerve has checked out for the day.
Somebody is oblivious to the human harrumphing and is happily asleep in his office chair beside mine.
Harvested about seven pounds of hardy kiwi. Some of them are ripe, the rest will (allegedly) ripen on the counter.
I've discovered that slicing and freezing them makes a nice snack or dessert. They produce a delicious syrup when they thaw.
It looks like a critter taste-tested some of the fruit that fell off the vine. Not sure if they enjoyed it.
I was curious to see if my guy, who loves to play with a crumpled up paper ball, would like an egg carton.
Initial reaction: Unimpressed.
My hardy kiwi is losing its leaves but the fruit aren't ripe yet. Perfect for a slingshot; eating not so much.
Hoping they'll ripen soon.

The conclusion of the apple crisp story (see previous post). Somebody still doesn't care, but also he's very handsome.
It's extremely sweet (the apple crisp, not the cat, although he's pretty sweet, too). Now I need to figure out how to best package it up to freeze.

The main source of your income shouldn't feel like a constant siege. It should also allow you to comfortably cover your basic expenses.
