Ooohhhh, an opportunity to shave a yak in one of my favorite languages!

I have started seeing more masks and I'm unsure if I should be excited or terrified people are taking covid seriously.

I don't want to get into the specifics of why I'm saying this right now, because it's a complicated issue I have lots of feelings about. But.

Don't be a hater. It's literally the least interesting thing you can be. It only serves to hurt other people. You're not cool for thinking you're better than other people. FFS.

Feudalism sucks ass and so realistically no one should open a small business that requires rent, but everyone should do research on how much <thing you'd like to exist> you'd have to sell every day just to pay the rent and for _your_ labor.

There's an LGS near me with mana in the name that doesn't interact with MtG at all and it makes me wonder a little.

Always glad to be able to explain that asymptomatic covid can still give you long covid to folks.

Republicans very clearly hate poor people, but leftists frequently run around acting like poor people don't exist, and as someone that lives in a rural area I need folks to understand that "20 hours of minimum wage at a starbucks" is not the most poor you can be.

I'm tired boss.

What do you _mean_ because I don't attach C# to specific job descriptions in my resume, people haven't been counting my experience in C#. What do you _meaaaaaaaaan_

Math is still math even if things you hate use it.

It's very frustrating having done your undergrad work in what has turned in to LLMs because all of the work was very cool about information tagging and turning information from one thing into another thing, but basically everyone agreed that yeah, the machine will give us nothing new, but data transformation and symbols are neat! And now even the people who hate AI don't understand what it can and can't do and blaaaaaaaaah.

I want to play SF4, but I know anyone still playing it at this point is going to crush me (Please I just want to play with focus attacks T_T)

At the amount of crime this city has it would literally be cheaper to just pay people to not commit crime.

Trying to convince people they're overpaying for local police by explaining basic math. If you have three cops serving a town of 2000 people if each of them handles one call a day that's 1095 calls which is 50% of your population needing a cop a year (which is insane) and they're still only doing half an hour's worth of work for the day and excuse me ahahahaha wtf.

I like the card scanning apps and they're very nice but it makes people think computer vision is more solved than it actually is and so people will ask for insane features as if correctly identifying one (1) playing card accurately against a broken background isn't already a miracle of modern science.

I understand that some people might have a lot of qualms about this and saying they're building a church or whatever but we use the tools we have available to us.

A church is NOT NECESSARILY A RELIGION. TO BE CLEAR HERE. Talk to your ATTORNEY and ACCOUNTANT about the specifics of what _YOU_ need to do to be a church for your specific goals!

ANYWAY.

Hopefully this makes sense, I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about any of this. Start a church! It's like a corporation but you can do spooky stuff with it!

This will mean that people overbuying real estate will have to change models, because the rates they are buying things at just Don't Make Sense anymore! (In a rational market. These people are insane and don't understand how tax write offs work so while you will for sure reduce rental rates I can't make guarantees about fucking over fintech bros.)

Now, you just, keep doing this with multifamily units in your area. Because the rental economy is run on comparables, over time you'll reduce rental average! (See RealPage/YieldStar BULLSHIT)
