While Hurricane Isais is technically an Atlantic storm, it formed as a disturbance in the Pacific and became a Hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico.
I say we still haven't had a Hurricane formed in the 2026 Atlantic season.

My formative years were filled with Woman's Liberation and the movement Ms Steinem was an iconic member. I use Ms purposely as that was the magazine she cofounded. All men should be thankful for her work. She changed America for the better. If she were a young woman in today's America, we would see what true equality meant.

We watched Project Hail Mary. Holy Crap is is bad. If you read the book and loved it, don't watch the movie. You will be sourly disappointed.
So, she said, OK, that's good. Now, we offer limited to four sessions therapy at out location (55 minutes away). And I'll need to get detailed information from you. Then she starts asking questions. The whole approach was so uncaring and so awful after the second question I just said, "I'm going to not do this right now, thank you for your call."

These young people were getting folks to register to vote. I told them I was so proud of them for doing this and what they were doing was incredibly important. A guy, let's say 50ish was registering. He said you vote? I said yup, ever since I first voted for Carter. He said, you just dated yourself. The one kid said "Who's Carter?" I said Jimmy Carter, our 39th president. And she said "Oh, right." Yeah, that was 50 years ago...

There are two reasons that Cuban-Americans vote Republican (or did) One is a long memory of the Bay of Pigs, the other is Democrats use the term Socialism too much.
I'm a Democrat and have been a long time and am very left. But Socialism is too left for me.

I think the biggest threat right now is the self-righteous groups--those who are the thought police. I don't share much of my thoughts here any longer because it's far too easy to fall prey to them, and I value my sanity too much.
Well, today completes orbit 70 around sol for me. Who ever imagines getting this old? But there are 25,567 days on this body, the waranty expired long ago, and some parts have worn down. But, the engine still runs and the system is go for launch out of bed...any minute now...
