I FORGOT TODAY WAS A HOLIDAY

on the one hand good that idiot should suffer his third death, native americans deserve so much more than token land acknowledgements, on the other hand i do have to take the train all the way back home now

see, that's why I'm bourgeoisie, I have a higher dunbar's number than you

yea i agree they're super useful, but in my culture we don't really use crafting tables

In exactly ONE WEEK, I'll be giving a talk at EuroRust about Krabby's query system!! I'm so excited!!!!

#programming #krabby #eurorust26

supposedly the fix is "queued for the next review round" but in the meantime i'll have to remember to select the old kernel on every boot lol

oh fun my keyboard broke because of an... incomplete patch series being backported??? https://lore.kernel.org/regressions/14ed23dd-b171-4ffb-b368-5c717f56188c@pepdata.pt/

Even with minimal things enabled, NetBSD’s rc script takes a while to finish on a 120MHz ARM9, so I wrote my own rc script that runs in a couple seconds. But it looks like the 30 second delay on shutdown is hardcoded into /sbin/init. So maybe I’ll write my own init too.

There are some things about the kernel that I think could be slightly improved. Maybe I’ll write my own ker

a trusting trust attack based not on the compiler, but on the "strip" utility 🤯

had this stuck in my head all day, which is strange, haven't even listened to it recently https://youtu.be/3aIIIeDAECo

It's kind of a scam that they call it a "field-programmable gate array" but then the only field you can program it with is GF(2).

nothing a little sfc /scannow can't fix huh??? horrid OS

also somehow i have already borked a fresh windows install i made for games, maybe by attempting to disable all the AI on it but maybe it also just Does That

welp back to full Linux it is

my biggest problem with fighting games is that i looooooove spending a ton of time in training mode doing combos, but can only handle ~5-10 online matches before my brain gets fried, unless on a call w/ a friend

also i suck at both parts but ah well

the other love interests being at 5, 7, & 10 is also intriguing. 2, 3, 4 are not the normal shonen popular archetypes at all. unless... this is secretly a manga for girls??? "tumblr sexyman villan", "300yo loli catgirl", "femboy" yep ok mayhaps...

Nue's Exorcist having to make an entirely separate "unnamed character division" in the manga popularity poll because "The female student who was cold to Gakuro" (1548 votes) almost beating out one of the main love interests (1563 votes) for first place is incredible content

may have been better to wait until the blog post was done to post the image, given how much it popped off, but ah well notifying everyone w/ the edit is fine too i guess
