I still have plenty of #mushrooms left from Saturdays #fotovorschlag, so it's the first time I can contribute to #mushroommonday

A whole lake in a single #raindrop - unfortunately it didn't come out as well as I'd hoped, but I like it anyway...

'Mineralien und Gesteine' #FotoVorschlag 'Minerals and Rocks'
This is probably not precisely matching the intention of todays photo suggestion, but was the best I could produce today and there are stones and I'm sure some minerals as well.

'Leere Straßen in Schwarzweiß' #FotoVorschlag 'Empty Streets in black and white'
Empty streets (if empty means without parked cars) simply don't exist in #Mannheim, so had to cheat a bit...

Yesterday - while looking for complementary colors - this hummingbird hawk-moth was also showed interest for the salvia flowers - a perfect fit for #makromittwoch.
I think no.1, with the white flower is visually more appealing, but no.2, with the red flower is technically better (precise focus on the eye). What do you think?

When I took the photo I already had black-and-white conversion in mind, but in the end I couldn't really decide. I think in the end I prefer the color version...

'Heiter bis wolkig' #FotoVorschlag 'Fair to partly cloudy'
I'm not really happy with my pictures today... and the weather turned to "completely cloudy" very soon, so only the first few photos I took are "fair to partly cloudy". The Turley barracks were originally built under emperor Wilhelm II and there are lots of this beautiful brickstone buildings (some of them nicely remodelled with appartments and businesses, some of theme decaying and for sale...

This was another candidate for #fotovorschlag (geometric shapes) I took today. Besides the #minimalism I also like the yellow/blue color combination.

I really have trouble chosing a #Caturday picture for today... I assume I'll just post another one later (or two or three) ;-)

'Fließendes Wasser' #FotoVorschlag 'Flowing Water'
Water is supposed to be flowing there. However, although we had some rain in the past few days, it’s still way too dry and groundwater levels won’t recover anytime soon (if ever).
