Look into my eyes silly hooman. Not around the eyes, into the eyes. You are feeling very sleepy. Sleeeeepppy. You are going to give me all your biscuits. When you wake up, you will go and get even more biscuits and give me those too.
Aaaaand...you're back in the room!

Murphy and I have gotten into a routine this week. He greets me as I head to town, then he waits around to give me more headbutts as I head back from town.

Nintendos go through everything. Everything.

"I know the biscuits are in the bag because this is the Biscuits Bag...! Get me my biscuits, TatoMan, nooooowwww!"

Today I have been re-potting bamboos into two square grey stone effect planters that I found, thought they might look nice on either side of the steps to grow into bamboo screens. The previous planters will be used to re-home bamboo in the yard.
The bamboo in the terracotta trough will be going outside the front fence to mirror the stuff that's already there.
Yes, I'm planting bamboo in the open ground. Yes, I know I'll likely regret it if I'm here in another five years.

Saw seven cats this #caturday, declaring it a success.

After yesterdays national phone alert over wildfires, telling stupid people not to set fire to shit in a dangerous heatwave, I went to bed to the sound of some local fireworks display that went in for 20 minutes.
Yes, I am indeed surrounded by ReformUK Ltd supporters.

A couple of different perspectives on the allotment.
Last year's tadpole survivors that overwintered neotonously have metamorphosed, and today I found a two inch long young froggy in the pond.
Normal photos don't show the entire view up there so I stitched together a couple of shots to include the hazel and the huge ash tree to show their scale against the rest of the area. The colours are probably a bit off as I'm not great with Affinity.

I rarely boost music because its so personal. I'm loathe to boost YT too, but...a nice take on a classic, with the inevitable nod to Chris Ledoux embedded therein.

July, August. Moths in the Bunker. Fecking moths. I swear I put out 30 a day and they launch another sortie from their secret moth base. Little fluttery bastards, always in my peripheral vision, coming up and saying hello when I'm concentrating on something intricate. Fuck off you little fluttery gits! How can there always be more of them no matter how many I put out?
Averting little clothes moth tips welcome.

Rafael Advanced Defence Systems is one of Israel's largest arms manufacturers.
Pearson Engineering is a subsidiary of Rafael's, it's profits go back to Israel.
Anacta UK is a lobbying consultancy that lobbies for Pearson, run by Teddy Ryan who is very experienced in Labour. As a shareholder, Ryan profits from Anacta.
Hollie Ridley, his wife, pretty much runs Labour's machine as general secretary.

I met Brin on the allotment. He wouldn't come to me, I realised I didn't have my bag with me (the biscuits bag), so I went and retrieved it from where I'd left it in the field.
Then he was all friendly, headbutting the bag as much as me.
When I gave him some treats, after he'd made sure no more were forthcoming, he promptly sodded off...

Fecking moths. July and August are moth season in the Bunker, when I take the training that Hendrix and Brin have given me and use my cat like reflexes to catch and evict the little fluttery buggers...
But take out one and two more appear; its a war of attrition to prevent being overwhelmed here.

The Reform leader’s relationship with the UK media has enabled him to operate with impunity for years. This past fortnight, that impunity finally appeared to be coming to an end. Carole Cadwalladr, who’s tracked him for a decade, reports on why.
