does anyone have speaker recommendations for me?

i'm looking for something to set up permanently in my room for listening to music. ideally stereo at a minimum, and Bluetooth connectivity would be ideal but i can fudge something together to handle that myself.

surround would be nice, but not a must-have. separate bass is very welcome.

my budget isn't huge, but throw whatever you've got at me tbh

i also don't have much furniture, so don't consider that lol

oh: sternzeichen faggot

more or less confirms that the PHP exploit on Wednesday was overblown, and contrary to claims it would be exploited in 15 mins, we haven’t even seen one confirmed exploit yet. even proof of concept exploits are incredibly hard to write and deploy.

AI companies were lying. again

this is so stupid, thanks apple

Switzerland: trading sideloading (genuinely neat) for iPhone mirroring and notification sharing with your laptop (something Apple is too petty to actually open up in a similar way for EU users and just decided to shut people out) at the border.

BUT HEY AT LEAST I CAN NATIVELY MIRROR MY IPHONE SCREEN NOW

"yeah you live in germany, have a german apple ID connected to your device, and your device was bought in the european economic area -- but I refuse to install anything from third-party stores as soon as you dare to cross the border into switzerland" and other statements dreamed up by apple

line based background image + fast scroll text with special characters that are integrated into the font + slow scroll text for the plane :3

forcing the wolp to wake up at 9 was a mistake

so it turns out the display supports up to 255 line segments, so you can just split an image into lines and (veeery slowly) send them all to the display :neofox_woozy:
